Curriculum and Syllabus for English for Standard I and II

effect from 2003-2004

An appeal from the Director
In
pursuance of the Government policy to introduce English as a subject from
Standard I from the academic year 2003-2004, the curriculum and syllabus for
Standards I & II have been prepared and are now released here.
Educationists, Professors, Headmasters, Teachers, Parents, Students, NGOs
engaged in various educational activities and interested public are requested to
examine the above revised new syllabi for its merits and demerits and offer
their constructive suggestions to improve further.
The Director of Elementary Education is pleased to welcome constructive
opinions on the syllabi.
All are requested to participate in the efforts taken by the Director of
Elementary Education and offer your valuable suggestions to the under-mentioned
address in person or by post or through E-mail
