Kala Utsav is an initiative of MHRD to promote arts in education Helps the Secondary stage students to explore, understand and showcase their living art traditions Creating awareness of Indian Cultural Heritage and its vibrant diversity amongst other stake holders. Preparing students as ambassadors of our culture. E-Project will emerge as an empirical database on cultural mapping of the country. students with special needs find an added opportunity to express the hidden talents through this initiative.

Objectives

To overcome inhibitions and promote exploration, stimulate creativity, broaden imagination and nurture values. To bridge the gap between our traditional cultural values and over emphasis on certain school subjects and to bring arts to the centre stage. To mainstream CWSN and students an opportunity and favorable environment.
